Description

This kit replicates the Southern’s low side gondolas added to the fleet between 1937 and 1941. The Southern Railway rostered a large fleet of forty-foot gondolas with extremely low sides that were unusual for this feature.  This kit recreates the nuances of this interesting prototype.  Kit includes one-piece body, floor, underframe, detail castings, detail parts including brake equipment, decals created from actual Southern Railway stencils and detailed prototype information and instruction sheet. Kit features double rib end.  $42
