Pressed Steel Car Company built a large group of 8,000 gallon tank cars in the late 1920s primarily for North American’s tank leasing operations. Definitive information has not surfaced and because they were under NATX reporting marks it is not possible to ascertain exactly when cars were first decorated for Rohm & Haas, but the best estimate is right at the end of the 1940s, ca. 1949.
The kits include resin tanks and details, styrene underframe and detail parts, etched metal ladders and uncoupling lever brackets plus accurate decals and extensive instructions. $50.00
The first orders of these kits will ship to customers in the second week of January.
