Description

Simply put, this is the most detailed Duryea Cushion underframe in any scale. It is not a kitbash based upon another Duryea frame; it is 100% created based upon the blueprints for the Bx-34 class as built by Pullman-Standard. This is a parts set the includes resin and extensive etched metal parts (including etched  “jigs” for the ladders specific to this car) and decals. It is intended to be used with Modified (10’6” inside height) 1937 AAR box car kits, as offered by manufacturers such as Intermountain and Sunshine Models. The pilot model shown in the photos and instructions used a Sunshine car, but the Intermountain offering should work as well. While I have constructed the pilot model to the most detailed level, there are places where you can cut some corners in the interest of speed or personal taste and they are highlighted throughout the instructions.

The initial run is 100 sets. Additional runs will be produced if demand warrants. Delivery will be 3-4 weeks from launch on June 13, 2025. In other words, you can expect your order in the first half of July
