In 1949, the CNW received 250 40′ auto cars from Pullman-Standard, car nos. 57400-57898, even nos. They had an unusual (for the time) inside height of 10’8″ and featured a beefed up, welded underframe different from the typical PS-1 welded underframe. These HO scale kits feature one-piece cast resin bodies and floor/underframe plus etchings, wire, Tichy AB brake parts, Moloco ASF A-3 trucks with 0.088″ width wheel treads and flexible angle cock/air hoses, Tangent Miner brake gears housing, Kadee Miner hand wheels and couplers, Yarmouth etched Apex Tri Lok running boards and brake steps, and decals printed by Cartograf with artwork created from CNW drawings. Modelers to provide paint, weathering media, and alternate details as called out in the instructions. $88 (click here for some background on our pricing) NOTE that some of these items may be substituted with similar quality items based upon availability at the time of shipment.
