Description

The Milwaukee Road purchased 500 50′ single sheathed automobile cars from Pullman Car & Manufacturing in 1929, series 271500-271999. They included 3/3/3 Dreadnaught ends with lumber doors in the ‘A’ ends, Hutchins Dry Lading roofs, Youngstown steel doors with Camel no. 50 fixtures, and fishbelly side sills in the center portion of the car. They rode on Dalman one-level trucks. These models were developed from the Pullman drawings for this group of cars

These kits include:

• one-piece cast resin bodies
• resin, styrene, wire, and etched metal details
• accurate Dalman one-level trucks from Plate C with 0.088″ (code 88) wheelsets, designed for this project
• Kadee couplers
• the most scale-sized draft gear (“coupler pockets”) on the market
• decals printed by Cartograf
